Seeking to refine the spirit of an existing home, this renovation centered on the precise reinvention of circulation and private space. A new central staircase and master suite were introduced through a restrained but deeply crafted intervention, one that sought not to reinvent the house, but to resolve long-standing functional shortcomings with clarity and care.

The stair, built of oak, blackened steel, and glass, connects the two levels with a simple, deliberate rhythm. The new master suite continues this material language, balancing warmth and utility through disciplined detailing and a minimal palette.

The result is a focused reworking of space - pragmatic in scope, precisely made.
